Welcome to another year and another ask the readers segment!
This year I figured we’d all start off on the right foot and publicly declare what our one big goal for this year is.
Yes, you should probably have more than one goal, but heck, some people I know are living life with no goals and love it.
And I’ll keep this post short and sweet so you have no excuses not to leave a comment and let us know.
So, what is your one big goal for this year?
Annual Planning Resources
In case you are new to annual planning or haven’t done yours yet for this year, here are some great places to start.
If you’re looking back at last year and want to see how you did, use Benny Hsu’s annual planning pdf.
If you need an overall framework of how to do annual planning, look no further than Chris Guillebeau’s annual review process.
And if you have trouble achieving the goals you set out to reach each year, check out my post on Think Traffic about why your annual plan will fail.
Cheers!
Caleb

I’ll start.
My one big goal for this year is to save more money. My wife and I’s first full calendar year as entrepreneurs was filled with big financial investments into her business, expensive health insurance through COBRA, and measly retirement savings.
This year we are going to put more money in the bank for our first home, retirement, and a dog.
My main goal: Generate enough self-employed income to quit my job.
I would love to stay at home with the my soon-to-be-here son. That’s going to take a lot of energy to get there, but is truly my sole focus.
P.S. Loved your article on Think Traffic today.

Thanks for the kind words David and love the goal. Go get it.
Happy New Year Caleb!
My #1 goal would be to generate more sales from all streams of income (affiliate sales, own products, apps). I have the resources all in place and I just gotta take massive action. I’ll say $100K if I had to put a number to it.
Love the big six figure goal. You got this Benny.
